What services do you offer?
Group walks (one or two a day depending on your needs), puppy visits and puppy training.
How do I book a walk?
Firstly you will need to contact me to arrange a free 'Meet and Greet'. When we have had a meeting and I have met your dog, I will then be able to set up your account through the online platform that I use. You can download the app for ease of use. Here you will be able to amend your details, amend your dogs details, book walks, message us and receive your invoices.
Do I need to be home when you collect or drop off my dog?
No. Most clients will share a set of keys to enable me to collect and drop off your dog even when you are not home.
What insurance does Sarah The Dog Carer offer?
I am fully insured with Protectivity. Feel free to ask if you would like to see a copy of my insurance certificate.
Do you offer home boarding?
I do not offer home boarding.
How much do you charge for each service?
Please see below for more information on our services, what they include and charges.
What if I need to cancel my walk?
Please contact me 72 hours in advance for no charges to apply. If you cancel after this time, you will be charged 50% of the walk. If you cancel within 48 hours, you will be charged the full amount of the walk.
What do you do in an emergency?
This is unlikely, but if an emergency did occur I would contact you, the owner first. If you were not contactable I would then contact your emergency contact. If no one is contactable, depending on the circumstances, I would contact the vet and/or take your dog to the vet for veterinary assistance.
Do you have any security measures in place?
All keys are stored away from personal information so no key can be linked to an owner. Van doors are locked at all times and crates are also lockable. I also have a privacy policy in place for your information.
How will you transport my dog?
All dogs are transported in my 'Sarah The Dog Carer' van. It's fitted out with secure, lockable crates. They are fitted with rubber flooring with water bowls inside and noodle mats for comfort. I have dog leads, spare harnesses, collars, coats and soft dog robes if your dog needs to dry off.
How do I contact you?
You can contact me via the contact form page, via WhatsApp or via phone call. If I am not available when you call, please send a message via WhatsApp including your location, what service you're requiring and which days of the week you require.
