THE TEAM

I set up Sarah The Dog Carer in February 2018 after getting my first dog, Bailey the Labradoodle in November 2017 (I now also have a German Shepherd called Bella who joined me in November 2019!). Dogs have been my favourite animal since I was little and used to walk my neighbour’s dog after school. I did my work experience at school in a veterinary practice and went on to work at a kennels when I was in sixth form. I then volunteered at Dogs Trust helping to care for the dogs and helped train the puppies before they found their new homes which was so rewarding. I attended University where I gained my BA Honours in Biology and Animal Behaviour ... can you tell I just love animals?!
 

In the first summer of starting the business I completed a pitch to Santander at The University of Chester and I won a business grant along with several other packages, including a dog photo shoot! I sold my car and put all the money towards a van and fitted it with internal crates. I love visiting dogs from puppies and watching them grow, I build such a bond with all the dogs I walk and they truly brighten my day. I always look forward to seeing them and they have the best time on their walks with their friends!
