Puppy Programme
If you have a new puppy joining your family, then our Sarah The Dog Carer 'Puppy Programme' is perfect for you!
I can help build your puppy's confidence, teach them how to settle in your home & build their social skills for when they enter the big wide world.
The Puppy Programme includes 4 training sessions in the comfort of your own home and around your local area. The sessions will be focused on your puppy as an individual and you will receive a weekly plan written by myself after each session to help you progress.
I even include a puppy ‘welcome pack’ to help you settle your puppy into your new home!
I focus on the following skills:
- Toilet training
- Crate training
- Reliable recall
- Nipping and biting
- Jumping up
- Loose lead walking
- How to drop
and more!
One session per week for 4 weeks

MY TRAINING JOURNEY - Sarah
I set up Sarah The Dog Carer in 2018 as a Dog Walking business and it's been the best 7 years walking the dogs and understanding them as individuals.
Prior to this, I attended the University of Chester for 3 years and graduated with a Bachelors Degree with Honours in Biology, including animal care, behaviour and dog training modules. I also volunteered at Dogs Trust helping to walk, care for and train the dogs.
I wanted to further my knowledge to not only just help with dog walking and my own dogs, but also to help others. Along with reading and self-study after university, I have also attended the following courses with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers:
- Career as a Dog Trainer (2 day course)
- Practical Instructor (4 day course)
- Canine Body Language
- Perfect Puppy
- Happy Recallers
- Loose Leaders
- Learning Theory
I am fully insured, DBS checked and canine first aid trained. I look forward to helping you and your dog on your training journey!
